Default bronco trans swap

well have a 94 bronco and i tosted the trans coming back from upnorth towing a trailer. i have another e4od to put in. jw anyone dont this before? i have done trans swaps but not on a bronco. what am i looking at time wise. its me and a buddy and my dad when he gets home. i was hopeing to have it done today or tomorow. i already got the driveshafts off. new trans and converter are there and ready.

alright. i was thinkn i could, but i have never dont the bronco before. my buddies blazer took me a week by myself in the driveway with a floack. bymyself. i have help now so it shouldnt be to bad.

i have an AOD in a Ranger and i can pull it myself in a couple hours. After u do it once you will be faster the next time.

E4OD is a lot bigger and heavier than an AOD. Make sure you have a good jack and a way to secure it.

A good Trans jack is priceless is swaping out a E4OD.

well we had almost every bolt out. the last bolt was the top bolt on the starter. and its rounded. before we even got in there. it had a replaced trans before i bought it. so now im hung up on this bolt. the exaust is right there. so today im hopein to have it completely down and new one back in

i replaced the AOD on my bronco, and it took a couple days. the exhaust was in the way of the bellhousing bolts, and just all kinds of unexpected troubles, but it works great now. I luckily got access to a garage and put it up on the hoist, that's the way to go.
