Patriotism being the last refuge of a scoundrel, fascism will come not carrying a gun, rather waving a flag and carrying a cross.

The level of Pride he has in the Country will be taxed and tested severly as we the people expect him to be Head of Government and Head of State (OKA the Double Expectations Gap), the pin might be a small detail, but it could potentially speaks volumes about his actual outlook on our country. For as long as i can remember politicians have worn that flag..and for the most part i hope they do so with great pride. it reflects in a negative light if he is to lazy to pin on the flag of the country for which he intends to lead prior to stepping in front of the camera (even worse that he chooses to stand mute during a recession of the Pledge of Allegiance. these actions will cause us (the constiuents) to not trust him and question te level of his true patriotism..doesnt matter that we dont truly trust politicians in the first place..but when it comes time for him to play the part of Head Of State and lead these people thru another 9/11 or oklahoma city type scenario his lack of patriotism will show thru.

at this time dumb move on his part....
I disagree but only on the 9/11 issue, I'm sure he won't cause another one . . . or so I hope.

And as the video clearly states, it's only an issue of criminal conduct when a Republ!can is wearing a pin.

WOW I got really nervous when the video started I thouth I was going to have to watch the likes of Ted Kennedy, Carl Levin, or Jen Granholm. I was relieved to see it was actually people that have been caught and punished instead of the ones that are robbing us right now. Not to worry Hilary or Obama will take care of everything just watch them they keep saying I have a plan.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but they say they have one so thats good enough.

IMHO It isn't whether you wear one but HOW you put it on and HOW you wear it . Being a Viet Nam Veteran and a proud citizen of the USA I can not help but notice how many people wear a lapel pin of the Flag of the USA . Having asked many who do wear the pin many questions , such as how many stripes and how many stars, and getting a whole lot of bogus answers, I can't help but think the flag on their lapel is nothing more than bling bling . If you do not think of what the Flag stands for each time you put it on , you do the entire concept of the Flag AND our nation a complete dis service . I do not care who is offended by my opinion on this matter and am even less interested in why some do not wear the pin . When I see people like Lou Dobbs (who is in a money making uniform, put on with no thought other than how it looks) dis anyone who does not wear a Flag lapel pin, I feel like crawling into the television and choking the fool out . Some religions forbid Flag worship or even display of it , but then again this is a country of freedom of religion last time I checked .

Is it not ironic that most of the talking foxheads also have no issue with torture, that bush himself condoned and anybody with open minds knew all along?
Patriotism can indeed be the last refuge of a scoundrel

Default Obama substance

I did not really know much about BObama so I read his book. There is a hell of a lot more than meets the eye or ear. He is a firm believer in constitutional law and taught it for a few years. Every thing he believes in ties directly back to our constitution. Thats a lot more patriotic than GWB trading blood for oil. Giving away our country, cutting programs for americans, Having the same law firm ( Baker and Baker) as the Saudi royal family who sponsers the madrasa's in Afganastan, and implemented the Wolfiwitz doctrine when giving a chance because of 9/11. Afgan was legit. Iraq was not. There was no AlQuieda in Iraq before 2003.
