I had an Allroad.

Car it is towing it completely stripped, and the trailer is aluminum.

Also, the Allroad has a 3500lb tow limit here in the States, but 5000 in Europe.

It tows like a dream AND launches sea-doos in Lake Michigan surf boat launches (gotta love the level 4 ride height adjustment from the dash).

Was also better in the snow than my WJ, XJ, CJ and WK.

I miss it lots.

I drove a European allroad last November. It was a great car. I wish we got a TDI version here.

My bro-in-law had an allroad.... $12K worth of engine damage... good thing it was under warranty. He sold it before the warranty was over (and didn't get another Audi)

i think they are nice vehicles.. but if they arent under warranty if you have any issues and cant do the maintenance yourself.. or are prepared to strip it to do any work on it.. .. be prepared to open your wallet..
