I don't have a wheeling rig at the moment (well, except for my SeXR400), I'm thinking of buying a Bronco2 with a 302 and a C4 and switching in a stick when I get the chance.

Wait until you're coming down an incredibly step hill and can let it idle in 1st gear/4 low.

I can drive a stick just fine, but prefer the advantages of an auto.

My Cummins is a stick . . . but it's impossibly slow shifting with the twin disk clutch, and my Jeep is an auto. Both spend most of the time in the sand, drag racing, etc. I prefer an auto for that.

If I ever get around to building a Slow Jeep, I'll build it with a manual.

a properly equiped auto will do the same

Mine is a C4, 2200 stahl, reverse man valvebody with comp braking in all gears. No reason to run a manual

my tow rig is a 5 speed

my current rig i just got is a manual well see how i do i guess i would rather it was an auto but it is more enjoyable as a toy to drive around as a manual

I like my TJ being a manual. I have driven Jim's YJ with the C6 in it and didn't find it any easier to drive. Most of the time I get all messed up trying to find the clutch that isn't there.
