I some times forget you guy's can't see the sarcastic face's I make and hear the sarcasim in my voice. I thought that with me driving an F350 and being in the excavating buisness it was clear I had to have a truck, and I was being sarcastic, my mistake. I really don't bounce around in an oversized truck for any other reason than I need a truck, I do however drive around in a 65 Cobra ac with a 520 cid bb ford cause I like to. And I'm putting together an S-10 with a bb chevy and a 14-71 blower for the street because I want to.
I'm actually making a big happy face right now because I like my hot rod cars, and I like driving them.

There are several small cars you'll fit comfortable in.

I'm 6 foot 240 and feel very comfortable and that I have room in my Caliber SRT-4. I'm getting high 20's for mpg, both city and hwy.

I commute from Bay City to Warren and drive an Impala which has lots of room for me... Never restricted or uncomfortable in it. There are a lot of newer vehicles that are designed for smaller people because my head will be on the ceiling, no leg room, or both...

The Subaru I sold fit me fine with room to spare. I am '6"5 BTW. I didn't have the seat near all-the-way back either. Plenty of headroom for me with a helmet on too.

The bad thing is the car got horrible mileage (for a small car) in the Summer(14-17 mpg). If I could keep my foot out of it it did alright but that wasn't any fun.

My Tacoma gets 17-22. No complaints here on that. I do wish the diesel they sell everywhere but here was available in it though.

I could give two shits how much gas is, I still have to drive a 1000 miles a week if its $5 a gallon. But if I'm going to buy a newer car then I'm going to get one that gets better than I get now. Using simple math (a stretch for you I know) I can actually save about $200 a month by getting a car with better gas mileage.

If fuel costs bother you get a smaller car or better yet a bicycle. I plan on riding my bike more this summer.

Dad smacked into a deer with his car, was going to scrap it, 250k on the ticker, I wouldn't let him. I put 300 bucks into a new fender and lights, insured it, and now I get about 25mpg to work and can push damn near 30mpg on the highway if I stay at 65-70mph. '96 Pontiac Grand Prix with 3.1L v-6.

I made changes for damn sure with gas going up and paycheck staying the same! Selling the burb, don't want to, but money for hobbies makes the one trip a year I could afford with her rather stupid.

Not really. I'm smack dab in the middle of my territory. My sales territory. It actually works out great as the shitty economy of one small town doesnt effect my numbers as much as others that make up for it.
