And that scientist have continued reserch based on that foundation.
You may.

Not really, his research doesn't give as much credibility to his theories as the countless other studies and branch studies that have supported the generally accepted conclusion that all living species do evolve as environmental and other factors change. Those that can't adapt eventually die off.

Insofar as how man evolved, it is generally accepted that mans form did change over the millenia, and that the further back we go the more primitve he appears. We dig back far enough we no longer find bipedal homonids, but something more apelike, thus the conclusion that we MAY have evolved from apelike forms. Of course, one could assert that the link between walking on all fours to walking upright could be the point where Adam and Eve came along, and I cannot disprove that, so it's up to the individual to accept that. I do not, due to many factors, accept such as "fact" because:

Main Entry: fact
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin factum, from neuter of factus, past participle of facere
Date: 15th century
1: a thing done: as aobsolete : feat b: crime <accessory after the fact> carchaic : action
2archaic : performance, doing
3: the quality of being actual : actuality <a question of fact hinges on evidence>
4 a: something that has actual existence <space exploration is now a fact> b: an actual occurrence <prove the fact of damage>
5: a piece of information presented as having objective reality
in fact : in truth

You are welcome, however, to peruse a thesaurus and see if there is a word other than "fact" that still leads down your preferred road that I might agree with..... (hint-hint)

From Wiki: "Intelligent design proponents attribute to an intelligent designer those biological structures they believe are irreducibly complex and where a natural explanation is absent or insufficient to account for them. However, critics view irreducible complexity as a special case of the "complexity indicates design" claim, and thus see it as an argument from ignorance and God of the gaps argument.

Eugenie Scott, along with Glenn Branch and other critics, has argued that many points raised by intelligent design proponents are arguments from ignorance. Behe (the main framer of Intelligent Design) has been accused of using an "argument by lack of imagination", and Behe himself acknowledges that simply because scientists cannot currently see how an "irreducibly complex" organism could evolve, it does not prove that there is no possible way for it to have occurred.

Irreducible complexity is at its core an argument against evolution. If truly irreducible systems were found, the implication is that intelligent design is the correct explanation for their existence. However, this conclusion is based on the assumption that current evolutionary theory and intelligent design are the only two valid models to explain life, a false dilemma.".

This is why I don't accept either as "fact".

So there you go.
