well my wife made some work for me...

I have this bowl in my yard that was part of a an old gravel pit and the center of it doesn't grow grass. so my wife says we should fill it in. I said sure as soon as I get a machine big enough, well she decided to start today using the 17cu.ft utility trailer & my quad. lets just say she didn't get very far. after loading the wagon and blowing a tire on the first load I had to go out and straighten the wheel and get it to take air again. the best part was she was tring to pull the wagon up the hill in yard with the flat it was so heavy I had to push the trailer & quad with my quad before she lost it climbing up out of the backyard....what pain in the ass. I told her I figured it will take 1200 loads so she went in the house to make dinner.

it could be a guess, but I think shes done moving dirt this way :tonka:

I was moving dirt around today, but i was pushing it with the dozer blade for my tractor... with 300lbs in weight on the back i was digging in so hard that the blade stopped the tractor and lifted the front wheels up, then the rear tires with tire chains dug big holes.

worked pretty good, but i didnt have a huge area to fill in.

I didn't mension the fact my son was helping with his quad & trailer. its a 250 ozark and its only capable of half loads because of the hills. he got stuck a couple of times and had to back out of some bad spots. he ran out of gas while helping and I had to get him started again. as for total dirt moved..1198 more loads to go.

if its a big hole/crater, why not turn it into a koi pond or something like that yetti. Sounds like less work, or get a big ole tractor.

that was the idea, but she is getting the cart ahead of the quad in this case. I had a backhoe/loader about 5 years ago and I sold it to cover my expenses on my project. the thing was huge, it was the biggest model that Case made 780D 4x4 it was about 28,000lbs sitting still. I have been watching for another "smaller" unit. if the 780 was still here it would be about 60 loads
