looks sweet, can it still come off like when you had it painted or did you weld it in after paint?

It was welded onto the truck after paint and then touched up. Part of the new modifications is making the cage removable.

There will be expanded steel mesh protecting the grill and the light bar. Nothing planned for the windshield.

O.K. here are pics of the completed mods.


First we added several disassembly points to the cage.


Some protection for the tool bins.


Widened the rocker guards for a usable step.

Is that Sterling Area like the Sterling by Standish? That thing looks pretty bad ass. Just think in 15-20 years you'll be able to buy that truck, low miles, in mint condition, with all the sweet goodies Cooters put on it.
