Slightly different, thats 2 brands not 5

if they got Jeep, they would have Hummer, Chevy, GMC, Jeep all overlapping

sort of like Saturn, Pontiac, Buick, Chevy, cadillac, all crossing on anothers path.

I don't see any sale to GM happening. it just wouldn't make sence. TATA is throwing money like Paris Hilton and is likely going to buy up more companys.

now consider the fact that Bejing Motors still makes the ZJ,XJ they could start importing them back into this country at some point. you guys could get your wish to have your old Cherokee back.

After spending 8 years with GM I gotta agree here.

I had enough and yesterday was my last day there. Sometimes ya gotta move on.

Until the Vue sales picked up Saturn was about to be dumped as well. It's still not out of the woods. The Skye is supposed to keep it going as well.

I guess it all really doesn't matter anyway, the last real Jeep was the CJ. Everything made since that point had somewhat of a concern for comfort & ride .
When I went to a Jeep dealer for an oil change last summer the service man told me to hang onto my TJ as long as I can 'cause they just don't make 'em like they used to.

135,000 miles now and still going.....
