Default Grayling area?

Does anyone from the Grayling area know what they are doing around 4 mile road? I hear they are clearing some land? Is it for the proposed amusement park?
The reason I ask is that I have been trying to sell a cottage up there for a few years, but if the park is going to be built I may just have to keep it...

thanks for any info,
Chris

The park deal could go either way. A lot of people up here do not want it. There are rumors every week. The cutting near 4 mile and 75, was just a regular clear cut. It sure got some people excited, though.

The clear cut was done in 2006. It is in an area that would be part of the park. Clear cuts are no big deal up here, they need to be done to prevent fire. Last I heard, the developers were trying to arrange financing for this project. The head guy originally said he was putting up 60 million of his own dollars, then it was discovered that he had recently filed bankruptcy, and was part of a similar park in Indianna that failed.
