Default Project PROCRASTINATOR - CJ7/YJ/Blazer/Lots Of Tubing

Ok Here it goes.. This has been a long drawn out process.. So much with everything else going on that my wife has now calles it the procrastinator.
Anyway here is the End Of the Begining.. Basically after tearing EVERYTHING apart and cutting TONS of brackets off.. I now think I should have for sure just sold it and built a new rig.. But anyway here it goes

This Build started life as a contraption to say the least. It was a Cj5 body lengthend to Cj7 Length with a lot of steel and fiberglass and bondo. It sat 9 inches above a Blazer Frame which had been shortened. It had Pro 9" Coil Overs, A Hillbilly Ford Hybrid Chevy Dana 44 up front ( Did you get all that ) and a 14blt rear with a decent 4 link. I scraped the body, cut all the existing brackets off the frame.. I'm going to clean up all the holes and smooth the frame out. It's getting a Tube Rear Frame Section and a Boxed Front Frame section. It'll have a CJ-7 front and I got a pretty good YJ tub for the Rear. I'm going FOA Coilovers in the 18" Variety and the body is going to be morphed all the way flat with the frame. I know I'm gonna get shit for not going the route of a jeep frame but there was a couple reasons I didn't which I have sorta already regreted.. They where.. I've had several jeeps and honestly .. the one thing I did like about this JeeBlazer was I could wash the thing.. The inside of the frame of my old jeeps just use to fill up with mud and crap.. With this there is non off that.. And the other is.. Hell I'm only using 6-8ft of it.
Anyhow.. Here is the start ..

This Is How I Got The Jeep.

Front Flex Before

Rear Flex Before

Just Starting To Tear It Apart

Frame With Body Off

Removing The Body

Frame Cut Front And Rear ( It Will Be Tube )

Rear Axle With Most Of The Rear Mounts Gone

Big Azz Heim Joint

Rear Disc Brake Brackets

Start Of The Rear Lower 4-Link Brackets

Way To Much Grinding

Lower 4-Link Bracket Tacked On

ADDED 3-24
More Grinding

Testing The New Lower Links - This is Not At Ride Height - And Pinion Angle Isn't Correct

How To Drill Tubing Without A Lathe

How To Tap The Tubing Without A Lathe

Just Checking The Flex A Little

Another Flex

This Is Actually Planned Full Jounce

More To Come.. Can't Wait Till 2morrow.. Get My Steering

I'll take some pics of the body.. Thanks Mike.. Your the one that talked me into going with a Full Spool in the front.. I hope I dont regret it..
My Steering will be here Tuesday from PSC.. It's a full hydraulic.. I can't wait to get that on the front.. I'm going to make my own high steer arms since we have a mill.. Hopefully all works out and it'll be done late this summer.. Still haven't decided on a color.. We have a Viper ACR at work that is Black with Charcoal Grey stripes and it just looks sweet.. I'm kinda thinking that..

It's a 1" -- I got them from RadialBearing
I chatted with Robin From WhiteKnight.ca and he's run them for 3 or 4 yrs now with no problems.. They are steel on steel with a zerk fitting so you can keep them clean with fresh grease after everyrun..
