I love to laugh at the people that are driving humongous trucks ridiculous distances to work and back and are complaining about how much it costs.

Why? Because they may need to tow something and can't afford two separate vehicles?

Imagine that. A democrat wants to prevent (drill for oil on our native soil in the USA) yet at the same time taxing us to curve consumption.

Mr. Dingle needs to go read up on a free market.

How dare you question what a person's personal financial issues may be. Those that bought a big truck may have done it based upon the economical conditions at that time. If we could all have a crystal ball in front of us we would all be millionaires becuase we would know when the enconomy would rise and fall. How many people on this site can't sell their houses right now for what they owe on them? Never in my lifetime has the housing market dropped this fast. Traditionally, a house was always a good investment. Now it's not. So to laugh at them is a bullshit response.

oh, and this impacts more than your daily drive to work or vacation. look at every commercial gasoline truck or van out there; the phone company, plumber, electrician, pizza delivery, taxi, airport shuttle, farm tractor, furniture delivery, medical testing lab, meals-on-wheels, yada yada yada. you think the price of a bread is gonna remain the same? this guy would kick the dead economy if he could.
