Default SRW vs. DRW

Speaking in terms of a Chevy Dana 60 front and rear axle, what are the pros and cons of a SRW vs a DRW? Is one better than the other and is there a preference.
What else should be looked at in regards to these axles besides kingpin or ball joint.

Thanks

srw is narrower

drw is wider.

most people go for single rear wheel so there width isn't super wide. but i have seen a couple people run DRW with H1 rims.

a DRW axle can be converted to SRW if you change the hubs. There is a way to convert a DRW hub to SRWish width but it requires some machining and welding to the hub. much easier just to buy a set of hubs.

Usually DRW can be found cheaper, other that that there the same. I just got done turnning down a set of DRW hubs for my front. They look like there gonna work pretty good.
