Restaurants near Marshall, MI?

Long story short, I am meeting a friend for dinner tonight. He's doing some work in IN, and we've figured out that the 94/69 interchange is about 1/2 way for each of us. However, neither of us knows of anyplace definite to eat.

Are there any half decent, average priced, casual restaurants in that area, with easy access to the interstate?

Leaving in about 1/2 hr or so, so sorry for the short notice. I figure if nothing else, we'll just find an Appleby's or something by the signs on the interstates.

TIA.

While I appreciate the suggestion, like I said in my original post, I am looking for a half decent, average priced, casual restaurant. According to the menu on their website, the average price on the menu is well over $20 for an entree.

Anyone got anything else a little more 'average'?

I was like wtf are yout alking about, I don't even see it on their menu, but now I see where you're talking about. I clicked on "Dinner Menu".

What is it like a couple different places together or something?

if I recall correctly there are a couple of franchised type of restaurants in that area - such as cracker barrel and what not. my last time through there was about a year ago and we ate a cracker barrel in that vicinity but I couldn't tell you where exactly.

I'd rather spend $30 at any place than spend any money at a chain joint. Shit, even White Castle is more original than any chain place.

Especially Cracker Barrell. That place sucks. So does Applebees, Chili's, Friday's, Ruby Tuesday's, Max and Erma's, Red Lobster, Outback and Lonestar.

There's a few oriental massage places in that area too. I bet one could get dinner and a massage w/release for around $50.

If that's not reasonable, then I don't know what is.

Well, our plans got all fucked up when I hit a crapload of traffic coming all the way from 696 to damn near Ann Arbor. Took me an hour and 45 mins to get to the M14/94 interchange, which would normally an hour or a bit more. So he came a bit further towards me, and we wound up in Jackson instead of Marshall. Oh well.

Thanks anyway.
