Ole Tony who called me about my H3 said they have had transverse V8 configuration in an H3 , dont know how true it is .

I do know they have had one with a diesel on the road , not sure what deisel motor , V8's too .

Changes for 07 that im aware of . Window controls have been moved for better acces , all H3 models will have the rear camera in them . The 3.5 is bumped up to 3.7 L . Not sure what the HP gain is .

The 3.5 is not the dog its said to be , Last night on the way home i kicked it down and bumped 100 mph with out to much effort .

Number one complain on mine is interior wind noise which i think is caused by the off road lights that i didnt care for to start with .:gman:

CC should bump this to the Hummer area

I highly doubt thats the case...but even if it is do you think they are just gonna say, "awww shucks" and quit making diesel trucks?

Now thats typical GM. Why not just do what the people want and be done with it?

Maybe I'm missing something, but the avalanche comes in an 2500 version with the 8.1L. So why can't they put the Dmax in there? Someone once told me the Allison will hit the floor pan...then use the floor from the trucks. Is making something existing fit harder than developing a whole new motor for a single application?

They put like a 2" body lift on the trucks with the allison. Thats why those trucks show more frame than the 1/2 tons.

Yes there are diesel H3s in development. Not for the US though.

Not the case....2005 Euro standards meet/exceed the 07/08 US standards. They already have the cleaner technology, they just need to bring it to the States.

the allisons need more room but what your seeing is the 2" taller frame rails for the 2500hd-3500 trucks

We supply the fuel pump module for the Colorados as were asked to quote a new one for a V8 application. But not sure of the time frame. So they are trying to figure out the costs.
