I am not up on the current information. But years ago, they wouldn't allow you to license ATVs for the street, because there were no DOT approved tires for them. I wonder what their excuse will be now?

I thought it was that if it was a 4 wheeled vehicle for on road use it had to follow the crash and safety standards of a car, truck, or suv such as seatbelts, air bags, crumple zones etc. ?
