up for sale is an 8.8 out of a 98 explorer......has open carrier w/4:10's,new rotors/brakes...
8.8 brackets/rotors and hardware have been sold
4.10's which have under 100k on them and look to be in great condition. asking 40PENDING SALE
8.8 31 spline axle shafts asking 40 for the pair
once again the leaf mounts will have to be moved for a jeep......i dont know for sure but more than likely and the ruffstuff specialties kit is a heavy duty kit consisting of ubolts and hardware, leaf spring plates and perches and shock tabs.
pics are up.......axle had rust spots and i did a crappy job welding the shock tabs on so i took them off and wire wheeled the axle and sprayed some paint on it.
i was looking to upgrade to 4.10s in my 97 F-150 with an 8.8 also wanted rotors in the back. i have a limited slip on my 8.8 but some panzy 3.55 gears with drum brakes. will you trade for somthing?
Also it looks like you've been trying to sell this for a lil bit will you part out the 4.10's?
