I get the chills every time I see them out on that lake.
I'm not sure how many are in that area, but seeing 3 adult and two babies in a day is way more than I would have ever expected to see in such a heavily populated area. The Muskegon County airport is is the far end of that small lake, which makes it even weirder to me.
I love spying birds of prey. Especially Eagles, but have never seen more than one at a time. If its a murder of crows whats the term for a group of Eagles?Great photos, thanks for posting.
It is interesting how they are out so much this time of year. I seen 47 last year about this time all at once. Plus or minus cause it was hard keeping them all straight as they were spread out across the ice on the lake. Seeing a few this year 4 -6 at a time so far.
