I made the mistake of reading the two articles directly before bedtime last night, so naturally my brain wouldn't shut off for several hours afterward. The upside of last night's insomnia is that I've done a little redistribution of my banked money, as well as taking a look at my "stockpile" to make sure I could last a few days if one of, or all, of my banks went down.

So here's the scenario: Let's pretend for a minute that NK's propaganda about their "cyber warfare unit" isn't bullshit, and your bank was hit with a massive computer failure. Best case scenario, you're unable to access your ATM, your bank card, and your money for 5 days while they rebuild. Worst case, your bank records are lost, and your account balance is now $0.

What would you do? How quickly could you recover?
Do you currently carry/ keep a decent amount of cash? How about other valuables?
