I did 650 miles in 12 hours and wasn't really even trying, I think if I went balls out I could do an iron butt no problem. Anyone do one before? I'm thinking I'll do one next summer after I get new suspension to work for my fat ass, and get a Corbin seat.
I don't get it? I've done 750 or so miles in one sitting, no stopping for fuel or anything, and no, air ride in a semi isn't much improvement over your jeep.
Not quite technically an Iron Butt ride, but my buddy Brian, who lives in Anchorage Alaska, flew into Detroit last year and we went to go pick up his used BMW road/track bike, and he got back to Anchorage 7 days later. I think thats pretty impressive on a bike.
iron butt is very strict the first patch is the easy one 1000 miles in 1 days time! i havent made it that far yet but my uncle and 2 other guys did it twice in one trip and he said it was some hard ridin 16 to 17 hours stopin for gas only, and piss and eat when you stop for gas !!!!!!
they do one every year around canada.1260 miles in less then a day.
