I have a 1942 Tula with matching numbers that I've shortened to 22" and dropped into an ATI stock, and welded a old-school M-70 bolt handle on, but I think I'm gonna take it further, with a Richards Mannlicher-style 'Old Classic' stock and 18-20" barrel, butterknife bolt handle and peep sights. The best part is when you post pics on the gun forums and the milsurp snobs go bannanas about you altering another holy piece of history...There were only 31 million M-Ns made, so of course we're gonna run out any time now.

lol, thats the best. i have been backing up enfields and 98's for years, just recently switched to nagants. the 98 i am working with now still had the swastika's on it.:teehee:
