Okay, so most of the studs for the manifolds were broken off far enough outside of the cylinder head that I was able to weld nuts on them and back them out. However 5 are broken off about an eighth inside the head. My question is, can I build up some weld in there without fcuking the aluminum all up or do I need to drill it..? The aluminum has great heat disbursement so I would imagine that it would be ok. But I don't want to do it then have to replace a cylinder head. Any advise is greatly appreciated!
x2. let the nut turn compeletly back to normally color from glowing and sometimes just a wrench or socket works or sometimes an impact works better if you can get in to it.
