Little bit of both. We tried to do semi manageable pieces. Once we got to the part where the 18'' bar wouldn't go through it without going around and around, we just did big chunks.
The Oak was dead about 3/4 of the way up. That one was 45 footish. We also took down a double maple (2 trees that were 1 at the base, split 4 feet up, and grew big, full separate trees) that was around 60ish feet also. Both maples were alive and well. They were in my way for my driveway/parking area.
Bring a trailer, friend, saw, or something to load the big stuff with. If previously arranged I may be able to get a skidsteer on site to load the heavy stuff.
The title sound like it could be from the casual encounters section on craigslist, haha.
