i was told that if you remove the front sway bar it will have no effect on the ride on a ranger and you will get 3 inches of flex without it. is this true or no. i heard it on another site
I think it will depend on if and how high it is lifted from my experiance, and how soft your springs are. My explorer with really soft front coils and six inch suspension lift likes to body roll and will sway at mid to high speed, however I have a lot more upper body weight than you, no sway bar isnt really noticed around town driving though. could make some quick disconnects really easily. definatley worth unhooking the sway bar though helps flex a little and every little bit helps with these front ends.
I say unhook it and try it then, just test the water as you go, dont run it up to top speed and swerve lol. like I said I made simple disconnects and love them.
But rember this: Its may not change much when driving straight but becomes a problem when you suddenly need to swerve.
