Very true. If that exact same truck was sitting in my next door neighbors driveway. I would not even look at it. Not worth close to that as far as I am concerned but I have absolutely no use for it.
Not sure if I want a nicer truck, I'd just want to fix it up.
If it doesn't need major repairs (i.e. rod kmock, bad trans) I'm buying, If it does need major work I'll post contact info for the parts scroungers.

If you don't buy it I will. That thing is worth 4 beans all day every day. Even if turns out to be a raging piece of shit you can still get your 400 bucks out of it in scrap.
Def. Worth it, Its got HP D44, Disc Brakes on the Front that i would pay 300 for the knuckles out for anyone with a 71-75 Early Bronco, i am not exactly sure what transmission, NP435? The motor is most likely a 351-400, i would buy either, the power steering box is used by a lot of Early Bronco owners as well with a little modification, and overall it is probably worth at least 300 in scrap.
Are the 1/2 tons worth more than the 3/4?? I see 3/4 axle sets go for 300 or less. I could locate some 3/4 sets (d44 d60) if they were worth $400+ a set.
Here's the problem. Where it's parked is not the owner's house. The homeowner said to call the phone number. I've left three messages and left my number under the wiper. No response yet.
All I need this truck for is hauling junk out of foreclosed houses, if it lasts me a month I'll be fine.
Friend of mine's wife is a realtor, her office bought a ton of foreclosed houses
