For those in the OC there is a new indoor kart place on Tienken a block east of Rochester. I just went there last week nice karts, small but slippery track :woot: Karts are more powerful then the kart to kart cars.
ha yeah it's better than the one in Mears as it has left and right turns (you are talking about the oval slick track in town right?).
Anyways it's a riot lot's o drifting. I punted the track worker dude and the girl taking money off of the tires that they were trying to stand on. They just laughed it off.
It needs some work to be up to the level of Kart to Kart but the cars and the track are already better imo.
I stopped in there a while back before they had the timing equipment installed. Pretty cool place. I think there was some eye candy working the register if I recall correctly.....
My coworker owns that place. Its pretty fun, the karts are 9hp and the track is fun since its slippery. He said if it starts to pick up there, he's gonna expand the track into the next building over too, there is a ton of room next door. He could probably add a second track thats even larger. So more of you should go so he can expand and you can have even more fun! :tonka:
Its $15 and I think you get 10 minutes of racing. So about 20 - 25 laps probably. :thumb:
K2K is moving to John R and 14 Mile. They were supposed to be open by christmas but none of the karts have been delivered. (which are electric btw) And the counter girl is sboot 20/21, she goes to OU. And amazing ly... she can drive a manual.
