Well since ya asked...lol
It was fun, but not as fun as loonie
Got to spend Friday all by myself bombing around. .had fun tried some shit I probably shouldn't have alone..but did anyway. And succeeded in some not in others.
Jeep worked great, love the wheelbase, Shorter stinger. .lol, new link setup, and absolutely love the 6.0. Had plenty of power, burned less than half the fuel I would've normally.
On Friday...I screwed around and twisted my rear driveshaft so bad it fell apart at the splines. .
Here is the start of the twist, I wheeled it till it really twisted up..lol
Had the guys in town fixer up for me for 55.00..woot! Back wheelin Friday too..
Will be building a new one out of 1/4 wall.
Ripped the heads off my steering box bolts burning from one side of the park to the other on Friday also..damn trees!..haha.
Fixed those with new grade 5s...lol napa didn't have ne grade 8s..wizzzzz
Also sheared the 5/8" heim bolt on my high steer Friday amd Saturday. .had spares fixed em all up and wheeled all day. Saturday 8ish to 7 pm
Full hydro should fix that. Damn trees again!!!
Bent my lower links on the first time out too..
So gunna do aluminum lowers, 2.25" seems good nuff eh?
Tried both these spots..alone in Friday. .almost had spot on right. Got a lil sketchy alone so stopped.
Pond trail was low. ..didn't have to hit any water to drive thru...bummer. .
Things I need to fix. .
Spring bushings in the rear
Trans cooler sucks
Hydro steering
New lower links out of aluminum.
All in all had tons of fun. .most of it alone on Friday, Saturday was all pretty simple stuff..had a small group come down, thats not into trying stuff out of their comfort zone. .
sended frum dis stoopid fone
