so im looking at a 98 zj, 318. auto, leather, i believe its a limited. pretty good condition, a couple small dents a few small scratches, hatch lock doesnt work, cracked windshield. not bad tho. has 185k. what do you guys thinks this is worth? are the 318s good for higher mileage?jeep is stock, with good tread on the tires,
EDIT:
Ok, this is a 93, it has been confirmed, the guy is older, and has some medical problems, and was confused. its is a 93!
As for a fair price, I paid $2000 for my 98 ZJ with 176,XXX miles with the engine has been replaced. Small problems, like yours. I think anywhere from $1900-$2300 would be fair. Would like to see some bigger pics though.
well good luck with the zj, i love mine. but first thing you're prolly gonna wanna do is replace the 249 cause it's pretty gay. if you do get into modding a zj, check out mallcrawlin, it's a grand cherokee centered forum, they have sick rigs on there.
it will definately get lifted, i already have a couple of 6k winches, so, bumpers will be made. if im going that far, bigger tires, and rims are gonna happen. it will be a toy within 2 years, and ill need another DD lol
That's what a 98 dashboard should look like. Then, like said above, the lack of flip window on the rear, and the fender badging - it's definitely not a 98.
If you've got ~$2000 to spend, I'd keep looking for something newer. I got my 98 5.2 with 176K and a replaced engine for $2000 with a couple small issues.
If you're on a serious budget, I'd pay $1000-$1200 for it.
left the window down, but, im not actually BUYING it. im possibly trading my car for it. and my car books around 2800 or so.
if i could sell my car, that 97 for 2500 would already be in my driveway. ive been drooling over that for a couple days
