So, on my jeep, I would run the autozone ones just because they always had them in stock. However, for my truck I want something a little better. I am looking to put a plow on the front of it next year.

What do you guys run? Do I need a special tool to pull the axle shaft? I have done ball joints on the jeeps. and it was pretty straight forward, is it the same on the trucks?

Truck is a 96 2500 4x4 with the V10 Dana 60.

Thanks for your input!!

its pretty straight forward. u will need a big socket for the axle nut and a ball joint press to press the balljoints in and out. just take ur time u will fiqure it out. As for brand of balljoints i alaways go with carquest or napa lifetimes. but autozone has moog balljoints which are pretty good. just make sure to get lifetime warrenty.
