thats my reason for thinking of keeping it. my reason for thinking of selling would be getting something more highway friendly. coming across the money for the V8 swap is going to be hard. if i can trade my pocket bike for a new rear axle, it would help with the cost. but then no 4 wheel drive until i get a new front axle or my dana 28 joints will get shot into the stratosphere. did you run an 8.8 with the 289?
