umm, there has to be more to the story than that to not be able to get good insurance... do you or your parents have any serious medical issues? have you filed so many claims that your insurance company dropped you?
Just about everybody has someone in their family with cancer, that's not exactly demonstrable disqualification for receiving coverage...
