I'm just speculating here, but I'm guessing that if you ever run into him it will be because you were too busy talking on your cell phone and programming your ipod to notice where you were driving..... (BTW, you are an idiot--young kids, by the laws of nature DON'T know everything, even though they believe they do and us old folks aren't stupid, even though you truly believe that. I know, I was young once.)

Oh, and Farm boy, I suggest you have a heart to heart with your girlfriend and decide if you guys are really ready to have a baby. They are a lot of work, time, money, and energy; even if they are the cutest things on the planet. I know lots of young parents who have done a great job raising children. I also know lots of them who wished they would have given the child up for adoption because they felt they weren't ready for parenthood. Oh, and if you believe that adoptive parents could never ever ever love "your" child as much as you could, please feel free to PM me. With the permission of some adoptive parents on this board, I will be willing to give you their names so you can ask them if their child is loved and treated as their own. In most cases, adoptive children are more loved and cherished as they are truly a gift. A long desired gift that required much more effort and heart ache than any romp in the hay could.

One way of thinking this through is looking at what kind of a parent you will be when the baby is up all night sick, up all night crying, up all night just because, etc. Then what about when he or she pours koolaid all over the computer and fries it, or draws all over the wall with marker, or hits someone at school and you get a call to "fix it." Welcome to the world of parenting---it isn't all gift cards to Walmart and cute little John Deere onesies.

Best of luck whatever you decide.
