Hand calculating only works if your tires are the right size for the gearing in your odometer.

Ford is notorious for undersizing the tire, which will roll the odometer up quicker and throw off the lie-o-meter.

That being said, I consistantly average 20+ with the powerstroke normal driving, and 17+ pulling either of my two rigs. (through my calculations:tonka:)
