Default '92 toyota pickup trade for something reliable or $1000 obo

i'd like to trade my 22RE powered toyota pickup for something reliable and something that gets decent gas mileage.

in the past 5000 miles the truck has gotten;

new clutch
new wheel bearings all the way around now.
new tie rod end in the front left passanger side needs outer tie rod end now
comp cam
new powersteering belt
new battery
new pads and rotors on the front.

it has 198k on the clock.
motor was replaced with a '84 22R, its is EFI, just needs a knock sensor put in, might need another motor, this thing is noisy
tires are decent, the rears wore funny from the bad bearings, i put new bearings in it.

front left tire is feathering from a bad alignment

body is fair, little rusy in some spots but no holes.

motor likes to miss, i don't know the problem, i'm sick of dealing with it.
it runs and drives.

tires on it now are some 31x10.5 some michelin a/t pattern.
rims are stock

I'm looking for a gas saver.
i perfer a manual transmission
1000 or best
what do you have?

these are pretty much all the rust spots onthe whole truck, the inside of the box has got a bit too.
