if you don't care about a mechanical parking brake in the rear, then you can't get much cheaper than ford rotors and either chevy s-10 or 1/2-ton calipers and some quick brackets.

Chevy trucks have the "inner shoe" mechanical parking brakes on their rear disc setups now. I have an AAM 1050 disc brake setup on my XJ's D70 rear. Not cheap, but very nice.
