I'm currently running 245 70R19.5 Michelin XDE tires on my 97 dodge. I love them. I have about 60K on them so far and expect to get 80 - 90 out of them. They are comparable in the snow to the Goodyear MTR's. The overall traction is excellent. They do ride stiffer but the truck doesn't wander as much or get pushed around from the wind (sidewall flex). That is really noticeable when towing. The downside is initial investment. However, for my truck the money I would have paid for 4 sets of R16 LD tires (~20K per set) covers the cost of not only the Michelin tires but also the rims. Ohhh and based on recording and averaging mileages I gained ~0.7 Miles/gallon (less rolling resistance).
