Actually it looks like it held up fairly well for a 50mph side hit. It shifted because it could have used an angled piece from the top corned near the drivers head down to the lower corner bellow the passengers butt. If rolled off road I think it would have certainly saved your life and probably not shifted as much unless it was a very hard roll on rock. Also, cages are meant to be replaced after a hard roll anyway so it would have served its purpose. Not to sound like im on pirate but all it needed was more trianglulation.
