Are the rockers new, or did you reuse the old ones?

Stock stamped MoPar rockers have a tendency to punch through when you use a higher lift cam- I always use adjustables with faster rate of rise cams.

I doubt the oil will make a difference- ifit is rattling with 10w30, it should still rattle with 10w40. The first number is its viscosity with the oil at operating temp
