Default ford van rear alxe?

OK I've been offered a ford van rear axle, probably something from the 1980 but not sure. probably a E250 or E350 but not sure of that either. i do know it had a 460 in it.

So what axle should it have? D60? I was told it would be a 3/4 ton.

Any reason I wouldn't want to use it? Anyone know what the width of it might be?

i guess I could go look and answer most of these questions myself but it's 50 miles away and sitting in a field.

I was thinking of a possible swap to replace the model 20 in my cherokee chief.
