Default Trans cross member ?s PICS ADDED

I built a new trans crossmember that has the trans bolted solid to a 3/8" plate. I then have tubing going out to the frame. I fishmouthed and welded a couple of pieces of pipe in a "T" that some spring bushings I had laying around fit in. Welded a couple of tabs to the inside of the frame. bolted the bushing part of xmember into tabs on frame.

So great, I now have a pretty flat belly on my Jeep. Now a guy at work that I showed my xmember to said " is that going to flex enough? if not you might crack/break your trans case "

I was really happy about my work, until the guy said that. So now I am worried about that. Has anyone ever done this before? I swear I have seen a factory xmember like this on a Ford before (mustang, ranger??).

I will try to post some pics later.

Thanks,
Fred
