Whats really sad is tow ratings on some Suburbans. My 99 w/5.7L and 3.73 gears is rated to tow 6000 or 6500....the Suburbans 1/2 & 3/4 w/6.5TD are rated to tow the same amount. Oh you could also get 4:10's with the 6.5TD in Burbys. I don't believe the 4:10's where availible for the 5.7L only 3:42 & 3.:73.
Blazers with the 6.5 used a 10 bolt :tonka: I am not sure what GM was thinking, but (knock on wood) it has held up to 210,000 and I know a guy with a 6.5 in a half ton truck with 240k on it...

I THINK all the 6.5TDs had the 4l80e... every 6.5 I have seen has at least, if it did not have a stick.
