Default Ranger 2.3 Crankshaft timing sensor

I have a 1990 ranger, it had some screwed up wiring on the cps. My first question is does the cps sensor being wired wrong cus the injectors not to fire. I fixed the wiring, other than the 5th wire the one without the coating, i dunno where that goes too. I know where it goes on the other side, but not the sensor side. If i can read the schematic right it should hood to the ground wire on the sensor.
