Default Plans yet for first week of July? Camping in Lake County.

I'm heading up to NE Lake County in the Motorhome with Jeep in tow, Friday, June 29, returning home sometime after July 4. On Saturday, June 30, I'll head up north of Cadillac for a Two Trackers run.

Those with time off during the week of July 4 with no plans yet, your invited to join in a camping / wheeling outing.
My plans are to stay at one of the State Forest Campgrounds (SFCG). This is intended for the civilized among us, not the beer bashing hell raisers, although beer is certainly welcome! During my stay, I'll be checking out the ORV trails in the area as well as some hiking trails.
Since it is a Holiday weekend of sorts, the forest campgrounds, being first come, first served, can be hit and miss. I usually avoid them and just do what the state refers to as "dispersed camping", but if I'm not familiar with an area as in this case, I'll at least start out at an established campground. I did order some Camp Registration Cards (PR 4134) for State Forests if the campgrounds are full or I stumble onto a great site. http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7...1303--,00.html
FYI, the SFCGs are $15 / night, dispersed is free. No motor vehicle permit required.

As to which SFCG to stay at, my first choice will be Silver Creek State Forest Campground http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandt...fo.aspx?id=600 Second choice Lincoln Bridge State Forest Campground http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandt...fo.aspx?id=599 Third choice will be the dispersed route.

I'll have my cell phone, but obviously I have no idea how well the coverage is. Cell: (616)558-8046 Home: (616)897-6885
