Get the motorcraft/autolite ones from autozone - they are the cheapest and are the best quality; Think it'll be about $100 in parts.
Reverse is up and to the left cause it's a 6 speed and that's how ZF designed it. :tonka:
I changed the glow plugs on mine in about two hours - but I do not have an intercooler, so you'll have more parts to remove/replace.
Also, use a mityvac with a reservoir to siphon out the engine oil from around the plugs before you pull them out - this will keep oild from seepng into the cylinder and the associated problems.
one last thing:
Do not force the glow plugs out if they don't want to unscrew
You will break the tip off and it will fall into the cylinder - then you'll be pulling the head off your new truck.
Carbon can build up on the tip of the glow plugs and makes it get stuck on the inside (kinda like a dog knotting with a skank hoe).
