quaker state and pensoil have a high parifin wax in them and tend to sludge more than say a valvoline or havalin it's not because of were they are refined but because the were they come from. Texas oils are the best for oil in my opinion.
trans wize use atf+4 or you will probly get a shudder.
Axles use whatever but make sure to put in limited slip adative if you have one or your clutches will be gone very shortly.
The first part might explain why Quaker State leaked less in my ford...
the funny part it list Plus type or Dextron 2 on the dipstick, but I think I am going to go with a +4 and my axles are open unless you want to loan me a limited slip
Ive heard the negatives about Quaker state foaming too much or some other thing but my last truck seemed to run best on it and it ran clean and leaked less.
I think im going to run a valvoline in this one for now and see who has what in a plus type, Plus is a lot more than Dexron and I've only seen it in valvoline and Shell so far.
