i have 35x15.50x15 super swamper sx's. i also have 5x4.5 rims which the tires are already mounted on.
$75 for the wheel adapters so i can use my rims
+-$120 for the disk brake stuff
$225 for an aussie
$110 for the gears i need
$530ish for the total on building the 44.
would it be worth trying to find an 8.8 w/ disks/lt'd slip?? i could probably build one of those cheaper i think.
w/ the 31 splines, the 8.8 should technically be stronger right?? (i know twist/load will be a factor)
i have a 258 w/ a offenhauser intake, weber 400cfm carb, HEI ignition this spring (in other words, not a huge v8); does that change anyone's opinions??
also, does that 8.8 factory locker compare to say a truetrac??
