Default wanting to build a 400+ hp SBF on a "budget"

Obviously I know It won't be cheap, it runs and drives now, and I am fine with it, but i am looking to build a 400+ hp 4k miles a year reliable truck. The plan is drive it as is, and build a motor and trans with a 2k budget a year over the next 2 years. So basically want to build a 400+ HP 351 windsor, and an AOD for about 4K, If need be I will go another year and add more $$ to the plan.
