looks like my dad is going to help me out once i brought this up to him since he wants a truck this summer for towing his boat instead of his mini van , and for getting lumber out of the woods upnorth. that is going to be nice not having to take out such a large loan.

Leaning toward the ram since i have a bit of seat time in one but am still looking at fords.
IMHO, find a 96 or older F150 with a 300-6 and a manual transmission. They tow nice, get decent fuel economy and are hard to kill.

Should be able to pick one up in nice condition on the cheap.
