1990 Toyota 1-ton dually. Rebuilt (by warner here on GL) 3vz-e 6-cylinder engine with ~20K miles (rebuild details are new Felpro gaskets, Speedpro .060 pistons, crank turned .010, new rod bearings & main bearings). This was a former U-haul truck. I planned on using it for Jeep parts/bicycle hauling, but have another vehicle to use for this, and I don't want to license/insure another vehicle. Runs/drives, but I have personally just driven it a short distance down my street. Body is solid for the age.
Toyota 8" (?) full-float rear axle. I was told by a couple different sources that it has 4.10 gears.
Almost new 2" receiver hitch already installed.
Needs brake/tail lights, decking on the flatbed (frame also built by warner), and a muffler (I'll include one from a Jeep Cherokee, but it needs to be welded on with a reducer).
With a little TLC, this would be an ideal (cheap) truck to make into a sled/snowmobile hauler, vehicle parts runner, custom rat rod, or as a basis for a compact RV/camper/tiny house hauler.
$700. Located in Grand Rapids (49503).
