So many contradictions everywhere...
Don't get me wrong. I value all of your opinions here (especially those who recently got a new job and those that do it for a living) but I have received the same contradictions through other sources that are also senior level management and HR professionals
The conclusion I have come to is that it's job specific and two pages is really the average maximum with a preference for a single page if possible.
It's also best to send my resume to experienced people who can critique it and offer ways to improve it.
